Barford Revisited

As I said in a previous post I would revist the Barfords to view the daffodils in bloom today was pretty close. I went from the Barfords towards Hempton and then on to Duns Tew along a small back road nice and quiet ride along a road I'd never been along before. To view the route just CLICK HERE

Breakfast Run

Today I took my Kawasaki GPX750R. We started from Deddington at 7:00 AM it was a bit chilly but expected. I followed a BSA Gold Flash and going through a long bridge just outside Aynho really made a noise. Saw some fantastic views of sweeping landscape and manor gardens. We went down one road that was very tight and a little ruff but not a problem. Half way round it rained for about 40 minutes I really hate the rain couldn't see through my visor had to keep lifting it up just to put it down again because the wind was to much. We stopped at a pub in Adderbury for breakfast. I hope to do this route again on a sunny day. Here's a map of the route just CLICK HERE.

Tuesday Spin

This was meant to be a Sunday spin but the weather put me off so I decided today instead. As I said in the planning post for Sunday I went through a few villages some quite nice scenic views and when the daffodils flower some great flowers in the barfords but today they weren't ready yet so I will go through again soon. At first I did get petrol and popped to B&Q hoping to edit it out but couldn't so those stops are in there to so please ignore them. I did try recording a video of the ride but it didn't go well just ended up recording the sky upside down. Anyway here's a map of the ride just CLICK HERE.

Sunday Spin (Planning)

I plan to have a spin round on my bike this Sunday if the weather stays clear I'll be taking my deauville. I might go towards Kings Sutton then through Aynho, Deddington, Barford St. Michael then back to Banbury through Bloxham. As always I'll be posting a map of the ride. Hoping the roads stay clear.

March Hare Run

Today I rode with the VMCC Banbury on the March Hare Run I decided to take my GPX750R. The weather wasn't too bad there was sun but some powerful gusts in areas where they made me swerve. We did just under 40 miles in about 1 Hour 20 Minutes. We started from Horsefair, Banbury just outside the Odeon Cinema and headed for Kings Sutton on to Charlton and through Evenly, Fringford, Caversfield, Bucknell, Middleton Stoney, Upper Heyford, Somerton, North Aston, Duns Tew, Barfords and ending in Bloxham at the Elephant & Castle. It was a great ride we did have a slight problem with a horse that didn't like our bikes which made us stop until the rider walked it past us. For a map of the route CLICK HERE.

The next run called Breakfast run starts from Deddington and will be on 15th March hoping for good weather.
